I am an experienced educational leader with over 30 years of progressive service in school leadership, mathematics education, teacher training, curriculum implementation, and institutional development. I hold a Master of Education in Educational Administration, Leadership and Management, a Bachelor of Science (Double Mathematics), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education.
As the Founding Principal of Top of the Hill Girls’ Junior and Senior School, my vision is to establish a Christ-centred institution that inspires academic excellence, servant leadership, innovation, and integrity. I am deeply committed to empowering girls from all backgrounds to discover their purpose, develop their talents, and become confident leaders who positively impact the society. My passion for Competency-Based Education, STEM, and Christian values will enable me to build high-performing teams, improve academic outcomes, increase school enrolment, and create nurturing environments where both learners and teachers thrive.
Mathematics has been at the heart of my professional journey, and I firmly believe that every learner can excel in the subject when it is taught in a practical, engaging, and learner-centred way. I am passionate about breaking the long-held stereotype that mathematics is difficult, particularly for girls. Through innovative teaching approaches, competency-based learning, continuous assessment, mentorship, and real-life application of mathematical concepts, I will nurture confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in every learner. My goal is to create a school culture where mathematics is viewed not as a barrier but as a gateway to opportunities in science, technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, and everyday life. By fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, discipline, and lifelong learning, I will work collaboratively with parents, staff, the Board of Management, and development partners to build a school that not only excels academically but also equips young women with the character, competencies, resilience, and self-belief needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
I am the Deputy Principal and a dedicated Kiswahili teacher at Top of The Hill Girls’ Junior and Senior School. I am a trained teacher under the 8-4-4 curriculum and a certified Competency-Based Education (CBE) teacher.
As an educational leader, I am committed to fostering a disciplined, supportive, and value-driven learning environment that enables every learner to achieve their full potential. My expertise spans curriculum implementation, learner assessment, guidance and counseling, and the effective management of school discipline systems.
I effectively teach the Competency Based Curriculum (CBE) by; being a facilitator who guides learners to explore, discuss, question and construct knowledge effectively, apply various teaching methods that are learner-centered, design lessons that teach on core competencies and values and also connect classroom content to real world situations enabling learners to apply knowledge and develop problem solving skills.
At Top of The Hill Girls’, I play a key role in strengthening academic excellence, promoting positive school culture, and supporting the holistic development of learners while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Director of Studies | Head of Guidance & Counseling | Mathematics & Physics Teacher
As the Director of Studies and a teacher of Mathematics and Physics at Top of the Hill Girls Senior School, I oversee academic programs, support curriculum implementation, and coordinate
mentorship initiatives. Committed to the school’s mission of providing high-quality, relevant education, I actively champion Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) methodologies that foster critical thinking, creativity, digital literacy, and collaboration. Through innovative, learner-centered teaching practices and continuous professional growth, I aim to inspire learners to become confident, responsible, 21st-century lifelong learners.
Believing that education must extend beyond academic achievement to shape character and instill core values, I also head the Guidance and Counselling Department. In this role, I coordinate pastoral programs rooted in Christian principles to support learners’ emotional, social, moral, and spiritual well-being. My dedication lies in cultivating an inclusive, compassionate environment where every learner is empowered to discover their God-given potential and develop into an integrity-driven leader capable of making meaningful contributions to society.
Chemistry and Physics Teacher | Laboratory Technician | Life Skills Educator
I am a dedicated science educator specializing in Chemistry and Physics, with expertise in practical, learner-centered instruction. As the school Laboratory Technician, I also support effective laboratory management and promote hands-on scientific learning.
I am passionate about developing learners’ scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills while teaching Life Skills to inspire students to apply science for personal growth, career advancement, and positive community impact. I also cultivate core values such as responsibility, integrity, cooperation and respect. Through these learner-centred approaches, I empower students to become confident, innovative, responsible, and lifelong learners who can apply scientific knowledge and skills to solve everyday problems and contribute positively to society.

I continuously assess learners through practical activities, projects, observations, quizzes, peer assessment, and self-assessment to monitor their progress and provide timely feedback for improvement.
I am a passionate educator committed to inspiring learners through innovative, learner-centered teaching and the effective integration of technology. I develop students’ communication, critical thinking, and digital literacy skills while implementing Competency-Based Education through engaging, real-world learning, differentiated instruction, continuous assessment, and timely feedback to help every learner achieve their full potential.
I hold a Bachelor of Education (Arts) and serves as both a Mathematics, Geography, and ICT teacher and the School Administrator.
As an educator, I am passionate and enjoy helping learners build confidence, strengthen problem-solving abilities, develop digital competence, and achieve their academic goals through engaging and learner-centered instruction which is what CBE is all about. My teaching approach promotes critical thinking, creativity, and practical application of knowledge.
In my administrative role, I support the smooth and efficient operation of the school while contributing to its growth and visibility through social media marketing and communication. She is committed to creating a positive environment where both learners and staff can thrive, fostering excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

I am an educator, a researcher, and education content developer with over nine years of teaching experience and five years in educational content development and marketing. A graduate of the University of Nairobi, trained in Competency-Based Education (CBE), IB, 8-4-4, and IGCSE curricula.
At Top of The Hill Girls’, I teach by exposing my leaners to real life experiences, allowing them to question the relevance of the theoretical concepts taught in every lesson. This enable them to be agents of their own learning experience hence addressing CBE requirements.
This is possible since I strive to inspire confident, responsible, and globally minded young women prepared to make a positive impact in our society.

I am a Bachelor of Education (Arts) graduate from the University of Nairobi, serving as a Mathematics and Physical Education teacher ,the Head of Co-Curricular Activities and the Arts and Sports Pathway.
I believe every learner has unique potential that can be nurtured through purposeful teaching and meaningful experiences. Through learner-centred approaches, sports, performing arts, and co-curricular programmes, I create engaging learning environments where learners build confidence, think critically, solve authentic problems, collaborate effectively, and grow into responsible, resilient, and compassionate citizens.

I am an experienced educator with a number of years of facilitating expertise in Biology and Agriculture. I am skilled in STEM program leadership, curriculum implementation, academic planning, and learner mentorship. As the Head of the STEM Pathway, I promote scientific inquiry, innovation, and practical learning while supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
I am Committed to delivering quality science education, fostering curiosity, and empowering learners to achieve academic excellence and develop essential skills for their life long learning. To achieve all these, I use learner-centered activities such as group work and discussions, my students conduct practical experiments and hands-on investigations, they relate lessons to real-life situations and local examples. I also use ICT and visual teaching aids (videos, models, charts), I encourage critical thinking through inquiry and problem-solving, I assess learners continuously using projects, observations, and quizzes and lastly, I promote collaboration, communication, and creativity in my classroom activities.
